Golf Black Friday: which deals are real?
Every golf shop will say "up to 50% off". We check what each shop has actually charged over the last 90 days, so you can tell a real reduction from a price that was quietly raised first.
Biggest genuine reductions right now
At least 30% below what the shop normally charges. Updated 11:42, Friday 6 November. "Not yet verified" means we're still building the price history and the saving uses the shop's own "was" price: why.
Fake deal watch
We need two weeks of price records before we can check a "was" price. This list fills up from around 19 November, in time for Black Friday.
How to spot a fake golf deal
1. Ignore the "was" price. RRPs and "was" prices are often prices hardly anyone paid. What matters is what the shop charged last month. Every product we track has a price history page.
2. Watch for prices that rise in early November. A product that goes up before Black Friday and comes "down" on the day hasn't really been reduced.
3. Check the model year. Golf brands usually launch new drivers, woods and irons early in the year. Last year's model at a big reduction can be a better buy than this year's at a small one, but make sure you know which you're getting.
4. Look at the size or spec. Big reductions are often on one size, loft or shaft. Check that the one you need is the one that's reduced.
5. Compare the price per dozen for balls. Multi-buys and "4 for 3" offers are easiest to compare by price per dozen. Our ball table does it for you.
When is Black Friday 2026?
Black Friday is Friday 27 November, and Cyber Monday is Monday 30 November. Many golf shops start their offers a week or more before, so we check prices every few hours throughout November.
Are golf Black Friday deals worth it?
Some are. Real reductions on clubs, shoes and waterproofs do happen. But plenty of "deals" are the usual price with a higher "was" price beside it. That's why we only list reductions of 30% or more against what each shop has really charged.
